The Yak-25 was a Soviet twin-engine all-weather jet interceptor with its crew in tandem and a radar in the nose. Its landing gear is the distinctive feature: instead of the usual tricycle arrangement it has a tandem layout on the fuselage centerline, and outrigger wheels under the engine nacelles give it stability on the ground. That is exactly why the landing gear is such a conspicuous part of the silhouette on a model of this type.
