1937-1944 Panzer Colors (6x 17 ml) is a set of six AK Real Colors lacquer paints for the camouflage of German armored vehicles from 1937 to 1944.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds six lacquer paints of the Real Colors range in 17 ml bottles, put together for modeling the colors of German tanks and armored vehicles faithfully from the prewar period through to 1944. It covers the key shades to the RAL standard: dark gray, dark brown, dark yellow, olive green and red-brown.
These are lacquer-based paints, not a water-borne acrylic. They are thinned with the thinner meant for Real Colors, or with another lacquer thinner, and never with water. The shades come from the period camouflage schemes: the single-color dark gray of the early war and the later three-color camouflage with a dark yellow base and olive green and red-brown fields.
For modelers of military vehicles who want accurate colors for German armor of the Second World War and prefer a tough lacquer coat.
Lacquer-based paints are flammable and their fumes are irritant: work in a well-ventilated space, away from open flame. They are thinned with a lacquer thinner, not with water.
