Responsibility details are not available.
This is a diorama accessory from Dynamo-Models. It is not a model of equipment and not a figure, but a plaque relating to the unit from the name, meant for a plinth, for the base of a scene or for the strip of a display case. The size of 40 mm is part of the name of the product. The material, the contents of the package and the state of the surface are given on the box.
Volunteer Grenadier Division in the name means a volunteer infantry unit. The division with the sequence number 31 was raised in the second half of 1944 in the southern part of what was then Hungary and drew its men mainly from the German-speaking population there. It was committed in the fighting in Hungary and during the withdrawal further north, where it came into the fighting in Silesia. The name gives no honorific name for the unit, which with late formations was nothing unusual.
The plaque suits scenes where you want to separate several similar units in one collection. When you are building several dioramas, it pays off to keep to a uniform position, for instance always bottom right on the front of the plinth; the collection then comes across as a whole. Before gluing, check whether the plaque seats over its whole area, and level any unevenness with fine abrasive paper. Schedule the fitting after the painting and the patina of the base.
