This is a replacement sanding belt of 320 grit from U-STAR. The belt, in the form of a loop, is fitted onto a compatible sanding holder (a sanding stick) and serves to sand and smooth the surface of plastic, resin and other modeling parts. Grit 320 is medium to fine and suits cleaning up parting seams and molding remnants and preparing the surface before spraying.
The sanding belt will be appreciated by modelers who work with sanding holders and want an interchangeable abrasive belt on hand for regular sanding. The medium fineness of 320 is versatile for finishing work.
This is a sanding aid, not a paint. Use respiratory protection when sanding resin and fillers, and ideally sand with water to limit the dust.
