An accessory from Reskit for a model of the AH-64 attack helicopter in 1:72 scale. The scope of the set is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The AH-64 Apache is an American attack helicopter with a two-man crew seated one behind the other. Under the forward fuselage it carries a movable gun turret, on the sides of the fuselage it has stub wings with pylons for rockets and guided missiles, and its main rotor has four blades. The machine is built to take a hit and get its crew home, so it has angular shapes, protected crew stations and rugged landing gear with a tail wheel at the back.
An accessory for the AH-64 model in 1:72 scale from Reskit. Which parts the set contains, where they belong on the machine and which kit it is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions; read them before you start building. The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary cement for plastic models will not join them, and the joint is held by cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), or by two-part epoxy on larger surfaces.
Cut excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest off carefully, so as not to damage the edges. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent before painting and let them dry thoroughly, or the paint will hold badly. Dry-fit the mating surfaces and work them with a file until the part holds by itself; only then reach for the glue. In 1:72 scale the parts are tiny, so put a light-colored mat on the bench and work with tweezers.
The accessory is for modelers who want to swap part of a kit for a more finely made part in a small scale and do not mind working with small things. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
