A set of sea anemones made by three-dimensional printing in resin, intended for underwater sceneries. Anemones have a dense wreath of tentacles, that is exactly the kind of shape that practically cannot be made by casting in a mold. Printing manages it, and so the set carries detail that would not come out of conventional manufacture. The package holds pieces of various sizes, so they can be spread over the bed as well as over rocks.
Printed parts have no casting blocks but thin supports, which you cut off with a sharp knife and then sand the marks down. They are glued with super glue, that is with cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting. The tentacles are fragile, so handle the parts carefully and support them while cutting. Anemones look best when you set the ends of the tentacles apart from their base with a different shade, because it is exactly this transition that gives them their characteristic look in nature.
For builders of underwater dioramas, for modelers of scenes with wrecks and for figure painters with scenic bases. Anemones also suit use as a small accent of color in an otherwise gray-green underwater scene, where there is usually a shortage of anything to catch the eye.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
