Crusader knight, mid 13th century: 75 mm is a resin figure from the Polish maker PANZER ART showing a crusader of the high Middle Ages.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's resin figure 75 mm tall from the Polish maker PANZER ART. It shows a crusader knight of the middle of the 13th century, from the period of high medieval knighthood. It is a figure for collectors and figure painters, not a vehicle kit.
By the middle of the 13th century a knight would wear a large great helm, a surcoat thrown over his mail armor and developed heraldry on the shield and the clothing alike. His armament was a sword and a lance. The figure captures this later, more splendid appearance of the heavily armored crusader.
Wash the resin parts clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mold seams; sand with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The surcoat and the shield offer a large surface for heraldic painting; mail is brought out with a dry brush, and the face and details with oil paints.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, in resin. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
