A resin figure of a knight 75 mm tall, the manufacturer's part number FI75-026; the small parts are 3D printed. The Polish brand PANZER ART has over forty collector figures of this size in its FI75 line and most of them are medieval. This is not an accessory for a vehicle or an aircraft, but a standalone figure to assemble and paint.
In the middle of the 14th century the armor of the European knight changes: plate armor for the limbs and the chest comes over the mail shirt, a bascinet helmet covers the head, and a colored jupon with a coat of arms is worn over the armor. The falchion is a single-handed cutting weapon with a short broadened blade; its balance point sits closer to the tip than a sword, so it cuts more than it thrusts. Foot soldiers and horsemen alike carried it as a second weapon alongside a sword or a lance.
Try the head, the arms and the weapon dry first and glue them only once the figure holds the intended pose. Go over the mold seams with a file and level them with putty. A primer coat is mandatory on a figure; without it the paint will not hold on the smooth material. Paint the skin and the eyes first, and treat textile and metal separately: build layered glazes on cloth, and a metallic shade with polishing on plate and blade.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
