Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of a Hungarian horseherd (Csikós) in 90 mm size from Bodi Miniatures. A non-military, rewarding subject to paint from the world of the Hungarian puszta - the figure is to be assembled and painted and will stand out as a standalone piece in a collection and as a competition piece.
The Csikós is the traditional Hungarian horseherd of the broad plains of the puszta, famed for his horsemanship and his characteristic dress - wide trousers, a loose shirt and a hat. The horseherds are among the icons of the Hungarian countryside and their displays still form part of the local color of the Hortobagy region today.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue the figure with super glue. The larger 90 mm size lets the painting of the face and the textile come into its own: after the primer, work in layers and build the volume of the fabric from shadows to lights with acrylics or oils. Traditional dress with flowing fabric is an ideal opportunity to practice painting folds.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is not a toy. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
