Kelik 1:72 J-10B - interior 3D decals

A set of colored, pre-printed 3D decals for rendering the inside of the cockpit in 1:72 scale from the accessory maker Kelik. It is not a kit but a decal film with a relief, three-dimensionally layered print that reproduces the instrument panel, the side consoles and the controls. Color printing saves time when detailing a small modern cockpit in a small scale. The decals are shaped for Trumpeter kits.

The real subject

The J-10B is an improved version of the Chinese single-engined Chengdu J-10 multirole fighter. Compared with the basic variant it received a diverterless supersonic inlet (DSI) and upgraded avionics. It serves the People's Liberation Army Air Force in fighter as well as strike roles.

Use

• Cut the film out, dip it in lukewarm water for 30 to 60 seconds and slide it onto the surface.
• Apply it onto a smoothly painted and ideally gloss surface and squeeze the excess water out gently.
• Press the element gently into the relief with a soft cotton bud and, once dry, go over it with a matte clear coat. Check in the manufacturer's instructions whether a decal softener can be used on it.
