An injection-molded plastic kit of the German reconnaissance and observation aircraft Henschel Hs 126B in 1:144 scale from Zvezda. It is a snap-fit model whose parts lock together and can be assembled even without glue. The package holds the parts of the aircraft, decals and a display stand. Thanks to the small scale it is an undemanding build, suited to collections and to the gaming table.
The Henschel Hs 126 was a German single-engined reconnaissance and observation aircraft with a parasol wing. The pilot sat in an enclosed cockpit under the wing, the observer and gunner in the open rear position. The machine was used above all in the early phase of the Second World War for close reconnaissance, artillery spotting and liaison; later, more modern types replaced it in frontline service.
Even though it is snap-fit, we recommend running a drop of cement for plastic into the joints for strength. Clean the parts up carefully and apply a primer before painting. The struts and the parasol upper wing call for patience during fitting. Spray the typical German camouflage with an airbrush, finish the fine areas with a brush and apply the decals over a smooth gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
