Model T 1914 Firetruck 1:24 from ICM — an injection-molded plastic kit of the American fire engine on the chassis of the legendary Ford Model T.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale represents an American fire engine of 1914 built on the chassis of the Ford Model T. The model has a well detailed engine and chassis and the fire-fighting body. The box contains plastic parts, rubber tires, decals and assembly and painting instructions. The manufacturer ICM is from Ukraine.
The Ford Model T was one of the first mass-produced cars and brought motoring to the wider public. Its reliable and inexpensive chassis also served for purpose-built bodies — among them fire engines, which in the period before the First World War gradually replaced horse-drawn pumps. The 1914 form carries the period fire-fighting equipment: a hose reel, a ladder, water tanks and additional lamps. The white tires and brass fittings are typical of cars of the so-called brass era.
Finish and paint the detailed engine and chassis before you assemble the body. Glue the plastic with liquid cement, and after the primer has been sprayed an airbrush suits the period red and the brass and black features. Fine-tune the light weathering and the gloss of the finish to your taste.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
