Injection-molded plastic kit of the luxury German sedan Opel Admiral in 1:24 scale from ICM. The kit offers a fully rendered inline six-cylinder engine and drivetrain, a detailed multi-part frame with separate suspension and exhaust, a well worked-out interior with upholstery texture, separate interior door panels and an optionally open hood. The result is a richly broken-up model of a prestige car of the late 1930s.
The Opel Admiral was the top luxury car of the Opel marque from the late 1930s, powered by a refined inline six-cylinder engine and offering a high level of comfort for its day. Only a small number were built. After the Second World War broke out, most of the cars were requisitioned and served as staff and personal vehicles for senior officers of the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe on the Eastern and Western Fronts alike.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Finish and paint the chassis, the engine and the interior before you close up the body; an open hood reveals the detailed six-cylinder engine, so paint the engine bay carefully. We recommend a primer and an airbrush. Set off the chrome and painted surfaces of a prestige car, and pick out the gaps and the upholstery with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
