The manufacturer gives 75 parts, a finished length of about 125 mm and a recommended age of thirteen and up. It places the difficulty among the higher grades. It is a small but shapely model, where the gloss and the cleanliness of the body decide the result.
The SS 100 was a two-seat sports car built from the mid-1930s, one of the last cars made under the SS designation before the marque was renamed Jaguar. The long hood, the tall separate fenders and the exposed headlamps gave it one of the most striking looks of its day, and the car became a byword among collectors of real automobiles as well.
Glue the plastic with a thin cement for polystyrene. On a car it is the body that decides everything: fill the seams carefully, sand the surface down and apply a primer, because every irregularity shows in a gloss finish. Spray the gloss shade with an airbrush in several thin coats and seal the result with a gloss clear coat, polishing it if you wish. Paint the chrome details separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
