The Ukrainian brand Armory specializes in wheels and landing gear and supplies them with finely rendered spokes and tire tread.
The Palmer Cord Aero was a British aircraft tire that was fitted to most British machines of the First World War. The 700x75 size means an outside diameter of 700 mm and a tire width of 75 mm; Palmer gave its sizes in millimeters, while the competition used inches. Wheels of this size were carried among others by the Sopwith Pup, Camel, Triplane, Snipe and Dolphin, and also by the Airco DH.2.
Separate the wheels from the casting blocks with a sharp knife, level the cut surface with a file and bond them with super glue. Degrease the parts and apply a primer before painting, otherwise the paint peels on the smooth surface. The spokes stand out when you spray the tire a dark gray and then go over the rim and the spokes with a dry brush.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
