The L30A1 is a 120 mm tank gun with a rifled bore carried in the turret of the Challenger 2. A rifled bore is the exception among modern tanks, because most current machines fire from a smoothbore, and that is exactly what sets the British design apart. The barrel also shows a thermal sleeve and a fume extractor, which give it its characteristic silhouette.
First dry-fit the part in the turret mount and check that the barrel axis points straight; on a one-piece barrel a deviation is obvious at first glance. Plastic cement will not hold this joint, so use cyanoacrylate. A primer coat is a must, otherwise the paint will not hold. Sand the mold and print marks down with respiratory protection and degrease the surface before painting. Check the pattern and the contents of the package on the packaging.
It is an add-on for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
