A basic photo-etched set from Aber in 1:35 scale in brass. It serves to sharpen a plastic model of the German Pz.Kpfw. V Ausf.G Panther medium tank in its late form. It is not a model but an accessory that replaces the thick-walled plastic features with thin metal parts.
The Panther Ausf.G was the last main production version of the German Panther medium tank, built from 1944. It brought a simplified and strengthened hull; the late form differed in a number of production details. The tank was armed with a powerful 75 mm gun.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and shape the bends on a bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. Finish the hull and the turret first, and only then add the fine photo-etched features.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
