The M113 is an American tracked armored personnel carrier that became the most widespread infantry carrier in the Israeli army and on whose chassis a whole range of derived vehicles arose. The repair versions ranked among the less often seen and at the same time the most needed: an armored unit in the field cannot do without changing an engine, a transmission or a track, and dragging a damaged tank to the rear costs time. The Fitter and the Chata'p divided the work between them, one lifting, the other supplying.
Finish and paint the running gear and the inside of the hull before closing the superstructure, because afterward you will not reach them. Shape the photo-etched parts over a metal edge, not in your fingers, and glue them with cyanoacrylate, as with the 3D printed parts; wash those free of release agent residue first. A pronounced dust patina belongs on an Israeli vehicle: dry pigments on the tracks and the lower hull and a lighter deposit on the horizontal surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
