A set of pre-cut masks in 1:24 scale from the Decalcas brand for the window frames of the Peugeot 205 GTI model. It is not a kit and not decals — they are templates that cover the clear inserts and define the edge of the spray. The manufacturer intends them for the Heller kit number 82705.
Window frames, rubber seals and bright trim are one of the most exposed places on car models: they stand on the visible surface and every curved transition shows. Cutting such an outline from masking tape by hand is slow, and few people manage an accurate parallel line. A pre-cut mask does this work for you and, above all, holds the same frame width along its whole length.
Peel the mask off the backing sheet, place it dry and press the edge down with a blunt tool so the paint cannot creep underneath. Spray in thin coats and let the paint flash off before you add the next one. Remove the mask while the finish is not yet fully cured, and do it slowly and at a shallow angle.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
