This is a photo-etched detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber for models of the Israeli M50 Super Sherman tank in 1:35 scale. The package contains fine parts in photo-etched brass that replace the coarser plastic items on the hull and the turret, among them tool brackets, grab handles, covers and accessories. Please note: this is not a tank model but a metal accessory for a plastic kit you have already bought.
The M50 Super Sherman was an Israeli modernization of the American Sherman tank into which a French 75 mm gun was fitted. The vehicle extended the combat life of the Sherman in the Israeli army and was used in the conflicts in the Middle East in the 1950s and 1960s. A modified turret and a longer gun barrel were its identifying marks.
Photo-etched parts are cut off with a sharp knife or with special scissors, bent over a photo-etch bending tool and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy. Fine metal brackets and grab handles refine the look of the hull compared with plastic. Degrease the metal and prime it before painting.
