A basic photo-etched detail set for the Jagdtiger (Sd.Kfz. 186) tank destroyer in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Aber. It is a set of photo-etched metal parts, not a vehicle model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This basic photo-etched set is intended for raising the detail of a plastic model of the German Jagdtiger tank destroyer in 1:35 scale. It is not a standalone vehicle kit but an accessory that replaces selected plastic parts with fine metal ones. It is the base item of the range, which further expansion sets follow on from.
The Jagdtiger (Sd.Kfz. 186) was a German heavy tank destroyer of the end of the Second World War, built on the lengthened chassis of the Tiger II tank and armed with a 128 mm gun. With a combat weight of around 70 tons it was the heaviest armored vehicle deployed in series in the war.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a glass base and bend them on a bender or between two rulers. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or epoxy; before painting, degrease the metal and lay down a primer for metals.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
