An injection molded plastic kit of the modern main battle tank Leopard 2A6 in 1:35 scale. The set holds a complete model of the tank and crew figures on top of that, so it makes it possible to build an impressive scene even without further accessories. The decals cover markings used by units of the armed forces of Ukraine. Paints, glue and accessories are not included in the package.
The Leopard 2A6 is one of the most modern versions of the German Leopard 2 tank. The main difference from the older modifications is the longer 120 mm L55 smoothbore gun with a higher muzzle velocity and penetrating power, together with a modernized fire control and protection system. Since 2023 these tanks have also served with Ukrainian tank units.
Finish and paint the running gear and the lower parts of the hull before you close up the upper part. Glue the joints with thin plastic cement and apply a primer before painting. The modern multicolor camouflage is best handled with an airbrush; a dark wash into the engraved lines and fine dust and mud pigments on the running gear will complete a realistic look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
