An injection-molded plastic kit of a British light armored car built on the Ford Model T chassis, 1:35 scale, made by ICM. The kit captures the characteristic armored body of this First World War vehicle and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The armored Model T for the RNAS (Royal Naval Air Service) came about in 1915 by adapting a light Ford chassis. The lightened vehicles were fast and mobile and suited reconnaissance and light combat duties. A small series served with British crews on the Caucasus and Romanian fronts in 1916.
Pay attention to a clean fit between the armored body and the chassis; join the parts with thin cement for plastic. After applying a primer, spray the top colors with an airbrush, bring out the details with a dark wash and use dust pigments on the running gear for a period look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
