A set of photo-etched metal parts for a model of the American twin-engine A-20G Havoc attack bomber in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Douglas A-20 Havoc was an American twin-engine attack bomber of the Second World War, built for raids from low altitude. The G version differs from the earlier ones most conspicuously in the nose: instead of the glazed navigator's station it got a solid nose with fixed forward-firing gun armament. A large part of the machines of this version produced went to Soviet units under Allied aid deliveries.
A set of photo-etched metal parts for a model in 1:32 scale. The large scale is merciless to detail: the thickness of a plastic part shows on it at first glance, and so thin sheet comes into its own not only in the cockpit but on covers, meshes and fittings as well. You will find the contents of the fret and what the set is meant for in the instructions the manufacturer supplies.
In the large scale photo-etched parts tend to be bigger, so they are more comfortable to work with, but every inaccuracy shows. So make the bend in a bending tool or over the edge of a steel ruler, in one pass along the whole length, so that the edge stays straight. Glue the larger areas with two-part epoxy, which gives you time to true the part up; small things are held by cyanoacrylate glue. Before painting, wash the metal, degrease it and underpin it with a primer for metal.
The aircraft kit, paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
