Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set of figures in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM, devoted to British staff officers of the Second World War. The package holds four figures and comes from a new mold of 2024, so the treatment matches the present level: sharp engraving of the uniforms, separate arms and heads with legible features.
Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery was among the best known British commanders of the Second World War. In the autumn of 1942 he took over command of the British forces in North Africa, later he stood at the head of the 21st Army Group and took part in planning the landing in Normandy. The staff officers around him differed from the rank and file in the cut of their uniform, in their combinations of jackets and sweaters and in the fact that instead of full combat equipment they carried map cases, satchels and field glasses.
Sand the parting seams on the sleeves and trouser legs down before gluing; later you will no longer reach them through the paint. British battledress comes to life if you lighten the khaki base with a sand tone and run a brown glaze into the folds. The berets, shoulder boards and rank markings are small, but it is exactly they that decide whether a figure looks like an officer. The set suits a scene with a command vehicle, a map on the hood or a small table in front of a tent admirably.
