This is not a tank model but a photo-etched metal detail set (vol. 2) from the Polish manufacturer Aber, focused on the early pattern fenders of the Soviet KV-1 and KV-2 heavy tanks. Thin metal fenders look more realistic than plastic ones and also allow combat wear to be suggested.
The KV-1 and KV-2 were Soviet heavy tanks from the start of the Second World War with thick armor; the KV-1 carried a 76 mm gun and the KV-2 a 152 mm howitzer. The early pattern of fenders over the tracks deformed easily in service, which makes them a rewarding detail.
Take the fenders carefully out of the fret, shape them along the etched grooves and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. For the look of a used vehicle the sheet can be slightly bent or torn. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer.
The set holds photo-etched metal parts only. The base plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
