A photo-etched detail set for the Soviet self-propelled gun SU-152 (KV-14) - vol. 1 1:35 from Aber. Metal parts for superdetailing a plastic model, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a set of fine metal parts with which you refine a plastic kit of the Soviet heavy self-propelled gun SU-152. Volume 1 usually covers the key surfaces of the hull and casemate and their details. The exact contents are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The SU-152 (factory designation KV-14) was a Soviet heavy self-propelled gun of the Second World War built on the chassis of the KV heavy tank. It was armed with a massive 152 mm gun-howitzer and became famous for its effect against German heavy tanks, which earned it the nickname of beast slayer. It made its mark in combat from 1943.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, bend them over a ruler or on a bender and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal before painting and lay down a primer coat. The fine details stand out once brought out with a wash and dry-brushing; mud and dust effects suit Soviet vehicles.
This is a standalone photo-etched accessory for experienced modelers. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
