This product is neither a kit nor a finished model: it is a set of small photo-etched metal parts from the Polish manufacturer Aber for building faithful tie down cleats on models of military vehicles in 1:35 scale. The manufacturer grades this item as second quality (2nd choice), which means that small cosmetic deviations are possible.
Tie down cleats served to secure cargo, tarpaulins and equipment on the bodies and fenders of vehicles. In plastic they tend to be coarse or missing altogether. The photo-etched parts make it possible to add fine, three-dimensional cleats in various places on a model and so raise its fidelity.
Glue the small parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and handle them with tweezers. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. Because of the size of the parts, a magnifier and good lighting help.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
