Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the single-seat F-16C fighter in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Kinetic, in the markings of the American aerial demonstration team. The model differs from the ordinary combat version mainly in its finish, which is among the best known in the world, and in the absence of armament.
The American aerobatic team has flown the F-16 since the 1980s, and its displays are among the most watched flying programs of all. The aircraft are operational machines modified for display flying: they have a tank for smoke fluid, modified controls and carry no armament. The finish in the national colors runs across the whole fuselage and hides a stylized bird-of-prey silhouette on the underside, which is seen during an inverted pass.
The color scheme is the hardest part of the build here. It pays to lay the white base in thin layers, let it cure thoroughly and only then mask. The large decals need a smooth glossy surface and plenty of softener to settle onto the rounded areas. The model is usually built clean, with no wear, because display machines are kept in immaculate condition.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
