This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a standalone model. The set contains fine brass parts that replace or supplement the coarser plastic features of a base kit of the Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) light tank in the Ausf. E, F and G versions in 1:48 scale. The maker is Aber.
The basic set of the Vol.1 range concentrates on the main refinements of the vehicle — grilles, grab handles, small hardware and flat details that cannot be drawn faithfully out of molded plastic. The aim is to raise the finesse and the fidelity of the model closer to the real vehicle.
The parts are broken out of the fret, bent over the edge of a ruler or in a bending tool and joined with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or by soldering. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a primer for adhesion. Work with a sharp knife and tweezers; it is practical to paint the smallest parts while they are still on the fret.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
