US Aviation Armament, 1:48 (ICM) is a plastic set of aircraft bombs and rocket pods for completing the armament of American aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic set in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM brings American aviation armament, that is, underwing bombs and rocket pods for models of American aircraft. It is an add-on weapons set, not a standalone aircraft model. The parts are in well-shaped plastic and come with a decal sheet carrying the markings for the munitions.
In the package you will find plastic kit parts for the classic American aircraft bombs, unguided rocket pods and incendiary munitions of the kind used above all in the era of the Cold War and the Vietnam War. The decals let you add the typical color bands and markings. The armament suits both the wings and the fuselage pylons of fighters and ground-attack aircraft.
The parts are glued with ordinary cement for plastic; sand the parting seams away before painting. The bombs benefit from a smooth base, a rich shade and light highlighting; metal and brass parts of the fuzes complete the detail. Apply the decal markings over a gloss base and seal them with a matte overcoat.
This is an add-on armament set, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and an aircraft model are not included in the package.
