WWII British Torpedo Trailer 1:48 is an injection-molded plastic kit of a British transport trolley with an aerial torpedo of the Second World War period from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. A rewarding addition to aviation and diorama scenes alike.

The injection-molded plastic kit captures the British transport trolley with an aerial torpedo of the kind that served the ground personnel in the Second World War to move ordnance to torpedo-carrying aircraft. It is a stand-alone accessory set from new ICM molds, not a model of an aircraft. It serves splendidly to bring airfield dioramas alive and as a companion to a model of a British machine in 1:48 scale.
A British aerial torpedo was moved to the aircraft on low wheeled trolleys, with which the ground personnel hung it under the fuselage. Scenes with torpedoes being prepared were part of the typical character of the bases of coastal aviation in the years anti-shipping strikes were flown.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, clean the joints up and treat the surface with primer before painting. The metal surfaces of the torpedo stand out with a smooth gloss base and fine highlighting of the edges; the trolley will appreciate a deposit of dust and mud from pigments for a faithful setting into a scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
