This is not a kit of an aircraft but an aftermarket detail set. It combines a finely cast resin cockpit interior (tub, instrument panels, sides, ejection seats) with photo-etched parts and replaces the simplified cockpit of a base kit with a markedly more detailed execution. The set is meant for models of the American Cessna A-37 Dragonfly light ground-attack aircraft in 1:72 scale.
The Cessna A-37 Dragonfly came about by converting the T-37 trainer into a light attack machine. The two-seat twin-jet design proved itself in counter-insurgency operations, close air support and light strike, above all during the Vietnam War. It was exported to a number of other air forces.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent and cut away the casting blocks; bend the photo-etch exactly along the engraving. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the interior and bring it out with a wash and a dry brush before closing up the fuselage.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and serves to improve a base kit, which it does not contain.
