Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer RS Models captures the elegant Avia Ba.122 aerobatic biplane in the finish associated with the display by Czechoslovak pilots in Berlin in 1936. The box contains plastic parts and a decal sheet with markings; the exact number of parts and schemes depends on the particular release.
The Avia B.122, or the improved Ba.122, was a single-seat aerobatic and training biplane fighter designed in the 1930s for the needs of flying competitions. The Ba.122 version was given a larger rudder and a more powerful radial engine and was built in a small series. The machine was famous for its precise handling and Czech pilots reaped successes with it on the international scene, among other occasions in 1936.
Bond the parts with a thin modeling cement for plastic, sand the joints down and apply a primer before painting. An airbrush suits fine shades and an even coat. On a biplane we recommend dealing with the lower wing and the struts first, and only then fitting the upper wing; the bracing wires can be added from stretched thread.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
