ICM Ki-21-Ia Sally 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese twin-engined bomber of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM represents the Japanese heavy bomber Mitsubishi Ki-21 in the Ia version. The model holds injection-molded plastic parts in light gray and in clear form and decal markings for several Japanese units. The Ia version captures an early variant of this all-metal twin-engined aircraft.
The Mitsubishi Ki-21, given the code name Sally by the Allies, was a Japanese all-metal twin-engined heavy bomber. It was in use even before the Second World War and formed the backbone of the Japanese bomber force in its early stages. The Ki-21-Ia version was among the early production standards.
Paint the cockpit interior before closing the fuselage. Use liquid cement on the joints and glue the clear parts in such a way that they do not cloud over. Painting masks will serve the glazing well. Apply the Japanese colors with an airbrush and bring out the details with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
