Responsibility details are not available.
Model of the German jet fighter Messerschmitt Me 262A-1a Schwalbe in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer Arma Hobby, valued for its modern molds. A new mold; the package contains clear parts, an assembly jig called the Arma Jig, a metal nose weight, Cartograf decals and painting masks, plus R4M rockets and bombs. Three schemes including the Czechoslovak Avia S-92.
The Me 262 was the first jet fighter in the world to enter series production and see combat, powered by two Junkers Jumo 004 turbojets. The A-1a version was the fighter variant armed with four 30mm MK 108 cannon. After the war Czechoslovakia built the type as the Avia S-92.
Build the model in subassemblies and test the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and bring them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a quality liquid polystyrene cement, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals onto a gloss varnish and seal them with a flat one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
