The Dassault Mirage F.1CT Fighter-Bomber in 1:72 scale from Special Hobby - an injection-molded plastic kit of the French fighter-bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French fighter-bomber Dassault Mirage F.1CT in 1:72 scale from Special Hobby. The model captures the ground-attack version of the F.1 and is meant to be assembled and painted; the kit contains clear cockpit parts and a decal sheet.
The Mirage F.1CT was a fighter-bomber of the French Air Force, derived from the interceptor variant F.1C-200. It was a single-seat supersonic machine with a conventional swept wing and a single turbojet of the Atar series; compared with the pure fighter role it was adapted for attacks on ground targets and for carrying unguided as well as guided air-to-ground armament. It served with a number of French squadrons and took part in overseas deployments as well.
Use liquid cement for plastic and pay attention to the seating of the canopy and the wing leading edges. It pays to paint the cockpit and its interior before closing the fuselage. Spray a primer, then apply the camouflage scheme with an airbrush in thin coats. Settle the squadron decals on a gloss clear coat; a final emphasis of the panel lines with a wash will give the model depth.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
