The Sea King Mk.41 was a version of the British Westland Sea King helicopter built for German naval aviation. Germany operated these machines for decades, above all for search and rescue (SAR) duties over the North Sea and the Baltic and for coastal support. The Sea King is a rugged twin-engine helicopter with a characteristic boat hull, able to operate in demanding conditions over the sea.
Finish the cockpit and the interior before closing the fuselage, assemble the rotor head carefully and mask the glazing before painting. Apply primer and the colors with an airbrush; complete the naval scheme with decals on a gloss clear coat and bring out the panel lines with a wash. Paint any external stores separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
