Lifecolor UA845 Flaschengrün RAL 6007 Matt

A modeling paint of the Italian brand Lifecolor from the UA range, the manufacturer's part number UA845. An acrylic paint with a water-thinnable binder in a matte finish, in a bottle of 22 ml. It is not a kit and not an accessory for a build, but a separate paint for brush as well as airbrush.

The shade and the standard code

The production name of the shade is Flaschengrün and the standard code RAL 6007. The number decides, not the name: RAL is an internationally used standard of shades, so the same code means the same shade with every paint manufacturer, and the 6000 group is the group of green shades. The German name is a production designation, which is why it is left here in its original form together with the code. The manufacturer places this shade among the period colors of the German railways of the Second World War period, which it also offers as the set XS17 German Railways Colors WWII Era.

Use

• Airbrush: thin with water or with Lifecolor thinner to a milky consistency and spray at low pressure.
• Brush: several thin coats, let each one dry through completely.
• On metal and on resin apply a primer first, otherwise the paint will not hold.
• Stir the bottle before work, the pigment settles to the bottom.
• Dark greens take subsequent weathering with filters and washes well.

Who the paint is for

For builders of period locomotives, carriages and railway equipment who want the shade by standard number. It also suits small buildings and accessories in a diorama where the same green is used. Work in a ventilated room and do not leave the paint within reach of children.

The paint is supplied in the package in the volume stated. The thinner and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
