A red paint carried under the designation A II KR. Red areas appear on models most often on insignia, tactical numbers, propeller spinners and recognition bands, that is, on small areas where it shows most how smoothly the paint covers and how sharp an edge is left after unmasking.
The paint is ready for airbrushing. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, so that the pigment settled at the bottom is mixed in. Spray at lower pressure and in thin coats; one heavy coat covers worse than two thin ones and easily drowns the engraving on the surface of the model.
Red covers worse over a dark base, so it pays to lay a light base color or white underneath. Apply masks to a perfectly dry finish and pull them off at a shallow angle. Flush the airbrush with thinner right after spraying, because dried paint is considerably harder to get out of the nozzle. Work in a well-ventilated space and protect your airways.
The package contains the paint only. Thinner, a model, masking material and an airbrush are not included, unless stated otherwise. Information about the volume and the recommended thinning is on the label of the bottle.
