A transparent acrylic base with a footprint of 80x40 mm, laser cut. It is not a material for building and not a part for a diorama: it is a finished base onto which a model is glued and which needs no further work. The longer, elongated footprint is intended for models that will not fit on an ordinary square base, that is for mounted figures, longer vehicles and larger monsters. The clear version visually disappears, so the model looks as if it were standing on its own; at the same time it suits hovering and flying models and the imitation of ice or a water surface. The thickness of the material and the number of pieces in the package are given on the packaging.
For tabletop and wargame players who build larger models and need standardized bases across a collection, and for figure modelers who want a clean display presentation without a distracting surface.
