Green Stuff World Acrylic Color, Whitecap Beige

A paint from the Acrylic Color line, that is an acrylic with a water-thinnable binder. It thins with water or with a thinner meant for acrylic paints, and never with a lacquer (cellulose) or an enamel thinner, which would break the binder down. The name of the shade refers to the light beige color of sea foam. In practice a tone like that suits sand and beaches, canvas, ropes, bones, light clothing and a base under toning with darker glazes.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, because the pigment settles to the bottom.
• Apply it onto a degreased surface with a primer, because on bare plastic or resin an acrylic holds markedly worse.
• Paint in two or three thin coats instead of one heavy one, so that the detail stays readable.
• Thin the paint for an airbrush; wash the brushes and cups with water straight after the work, because once dry it is no longer possible.

Who the paint is for

For painters of figures and wargaming models as well as for modelers who build dioramas and need a light neutral tone for terrain and accessories. An acrylic is friendly to beginners too, as it does not smell like solvent paints and the tools clean with ordinary water. More experienced painters will appreciate it as a base under color modulation and dry brushing.
