About product

AE-9 / AII Light Grey – AIR

A water-based acrylic paint from the AIR aircraft range, a 17 ml bottle. It reproduces the light gray shade used on Soviet aircraft within the period AII and AE cellulose dope ranges. The paint is highly pigmented, dries quickly and leaves a matte surface.

Use

  • Applied with a brush and with an airbrush; for an airbrush it is thinned with water or with the acrylic thinner of the same range.
  • Suitable for plastic, resin, metal and wood.
  • Good for the light gray surfaces of Soviet aircraft.
  • It allows layering and overcoating without disturbing the paint underneath.

Who it is for

For modelers building Soviet aircraft who want a period-accurate light gray straight from the bottle. Suitable for beginners and advanced builders alike.

The paint is water-based and low in odor. Make sure of ventilation and respiratory protection when spraying; keep it out of the reach of children.
