Js Work Airbrush CAMO-MASK – Mark I scheme 1, 1:35

A set of self-adhesive masking films of the CAMO-MASK line from Js Work for a model of the Mark I tank, camouflage scheme 1, in 1:35 scale. The films are pre-cut to the shape of one particular pattern and let you spray a multicolor camouflage with clean transitions using an airbrush. The package contains neither paints nor the model.

The real subject

The Mark I was a British tank of the First World War and is regarded as the first tank ever committed to battle. Its characteristic rhomboid outline, with the tracks running around the whole hull, carried various experimental camouflage schemes in the early period, the first variant of which this set reproduces.

Use

• spray the model in the base color of the camouflage and let it dry
• lay the films onto the right places according to the guide
• spray a further shade over them and remove the masks carefully
• for softer edges lift the mask slightly above the surface
