This air cap concentrates the stream into a tight circle, so the paint lands on a small area and the edge of the coat stays crisp. It is intended for airbrushes of the Premium Mobius line and aims at work where precision decides rather than speed.
Freehand camouflage without masking, shading panels, faces and cloth on figures, markings and fine transitions on small parts. In such situations it is always better to work with the smallest possible spot and build the coat up gradually than to try to hit the shade in one go. Anyone who paints figures or builds in small scales will appreciate it at every session, because it is exactly here that the width of the spot decides whether the result reads as fine or as coarse.
The basis is properly thinned paint and an absolutely clean needle, as the smallest dried residue shows up at once with a narrow pattern. Get close to the surface, feed only a trace of paint and always try the stroke on paper first. If spidering or graininess appears, the fault is usually paint that is too thick. It also pays to work in shorter stretches and wipe the needle in between.
It is sold as a separate part without an airbrush.
