Mr.Paint Aircraft Grey BS693

This is a solvent-based modeling lacquer, not a water-thinnable acrylic. The shade corresponds to the British standard BS 693 (Aircraft Grey), an aviation gray. The paint has a semi-gloss (satin) finish and a viscosity mixed specifically for airbrushing.

Use

  • Intended for airbrushing only, not for a brush.
  • It sprays from the bottle with practically no thinning; if needed, thin it further with the lacquer thinner of the same range.
  • It dries quickly to a thin, smooth film with good covering power.
  • Do not thin it with water or with acrylic or enamel thinners.

Who it is for

For aircraft modelers who work with an airbrush and want thin, accurate coats with a hard lacquer surface that stands up to masking and weathering.

A solvent-based lacquer: flammable, with irritating fumes. Use a respirator, extraction and good ventilation, away from children and open flame.

It is a solvent-based lacquer. It is thinned with lacquer thinner, not with water.

With an airbrush, straight from the bottle with practically no thinning. It is not optimized for a brush.
