Tamiya AS-9 Dark Green (aircraft spray, 100 ml)

An aircraft lacquer spray from Tamiya's AS line, made for painting plastic aircraft models. It is a synthetic lacquer ready for immediate use: no thinning and no airbrush, the spray goes straight on. The Dark Green shade is the dark green used in the camouflage schemes of the Royal Air Force (RAF) in the Second World War, typically in combination with another brown or gray shade on the upper surfaces. The can holds 100 ml of lacquer and dries to a flat shade suited to period camouflage finishes.

Use

• Painting plastic aircraft models, above all the upper camouflage surfaces of British RAF machines of the Second World War.
• Spray from a distance of about 25–30 cm from the model.
• Apply in several thin coats with drying in between: that avoids runs and preserves the detail of the engraving.
• You will get the best adhesion on clean plastic or on a base coat (primer).
• Shake the can for a few tens of seconds before use and spray in a well-ventilated area.
