A model aircraft looks one way on a shelf standing on its wheels and another hovering above the surface with its landing gear retracted. A transparent stand holds a model in a flying attitude while drawing as little attention to itself as possible: clear plastic visually disappears in a display case and the viewer takes in mainly the machine. Tilting the model also makes it possible to show the underside of the fuselage, which nobody otherwise sees in a cabinet.
The package holds twelve stands in three sizes: six small, four medium and two larger. Choose the size according to the span and the weight of the model, as a heavier and bigger machine needs a taller, more stable piece. The stands are not tied to one kit and you will use them on various models.
Always try the mounting of a model dry first and only then glue anything. Clear plastic scratches easily and fingerprints show on it, so handle it through a cloth or wearing a glove and clean it only with a soft fabric. Take care with gluing: super glue leaves a white haze on transparent plastic, so use a glue meant for clear parts and apply it in the smallest possible amount. Let the model rest in place rather than fixing it firmly, as it is then easier to move.
The set suits collectors with several aircraft models and anywhere a display case should look uniform. The package holds the stands only, unless stated otherwise; models, glue and paints are not included.
