A greenish khaki shade from the ATOM modeling range by AMMO of Mig Jimenez. It suits an airbrush and a brush alike; choose the thinner according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
Khaki Green is a muted green with a brownish cast, that is a tone close to the field finishes of military equipment, gear and crates. On a model such a shade behaves obligingly: it is dark enough to hold a surface together and still takes the lightening and darkening used to break large areas up, so that they do not look like one flat board.
It comes into its own on ground equipment, on crates, cans and other accessories, on the uniforms of figures and on the upper surfaces of aircraft with a green finish. It sits well alongside ocher, sand and brown shades, with which a transition to a scuffed, dusty surface can be mixed. It suits a base under dust and mud because it does not disappear under a thin layer of deposits and the surface does not go gray.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before work, as the pigment settles to the bottom. Apply the paint in thin coats and let them set up; one heavy coat drowns engraved detail and rubs off on edges. Choose the thinner, the thinning ratio and the cleaning of tools according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and use a thinner intended for this range, as a foreign thinner can curdle the paint. For an airbrush it is thinned more than for brush work. With a brush, pick the paint up in small amounts, lay the strokes in one direction and apply the next coat only over a dry surface.
The paint itself is supplied. The thinner, brushes, spray equipment and a model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
