An acrylic paint of the Amazing Art brand from the range intended for painting figures and gaming models. The shade is a saturated, brightly pitched blue, that is, a color that catches the eye on a figure at once and carries even on a small area. The Battle Game Color range is built for brush work, which is what a modeler spends most of the time on with figures.
A bright blue is among the colors used most often on figures: a cloak, a tunic, a shield, a banner, the badge of a unit or an element meant to set a commander apart from a rank-and-file character. It goes well with gold and silver, so it also suits places where a character is to look ceremonial. On the larger areas of a model it works as a bold accent against muted earth tones.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use; in an acrylic the pigment settles at the bottom. Lay it on in several thin coats rather than one heavy one, because a heavy coat floods the fine relief of a figure and the figure loses its crispness. It pays to prepare the ground with a base color: on a light ground the blue comes out brighter, on a dark one it looks deeper. Wash the brush out right after work, as dried acrylic is hard to get out of the bristles. Thinning and any use in an airbrush should be handled according to the manufacturer's instructions, as the ratio differs between the individual ranges.
